The default configuration for the isstatus bar shows the user's ip address. This can be a problem when the user does not notice this before sharing their screen with someone else. As they then may leak their ip address without even realizing it.

I think the default configuration should not show the ip address to avoid potential leaks as not everyone may notice this when they are getting started with using i3.

AFAIK, this is not your global IP address, just the local one
