Multi User Beamforming

• Unable to disable Multi User Beamforming in the Wireless Basic 5 Ghz GUI menu.
• Where is the wireless country code setting in the GUI

the first issue will be fixed in the next release, whenever that is. it's a small bug.

if you really want to change it (bad idea if you ask me), then use the nvram variable wl1_mubf=0

it's not that easy to change countries via the menu because it'd require a lot of different values.

right now 'region' variable will accept 'CA', 'US', 'EU' (for germany), 'AP' (korea), 'JP' (japan), 'GB'/'IE'/'IM'

i'll think a bout if i want to add a region menu.

dear (probably not intentionally) greedy user

the next release (47675) will fix the mubeamforming issue and also allow many more regions in a drop-down menu that will also allow TWO regions (one per radio) concurrently.

it shall be posted shortly after i flash it to ensure no changes from 47667->47675, but i expect no issues since i am running a modified 47667 with the aforementioned changes.

you first need to download it.

at that point you need to find a way to mount external storage to /opt

the 882 has usb so typically you'd mount it to /opt upon connecting.

at that point just rsync all of the contents in lootbag/usr/local to the spot mounted at /opt.
