i tried to install discord, and it gives me this error

on my last windows 7 install, it worked fine. discord mustve changed something on their latest update because it no longer works

this is that youre missing the virtual c++

but even that it still does not run anymore :(

Spotify Neither Discord Works Anymore with VxKex.

idk it just ran randomly, dont enable vxkex on updater.exe nor discord.exe or whatever it is at %appdata% or smth i forgot :sob:

Are you struggling with getting the electron client work because of the hotkeys or screen sharing? Because if you go to discord.com it just works. I'm only telling because I actually met someone (online) who didn't know that. So who knows...

You can set OBS to output the captured video as if it was a webcam. https://obsproject.com/kb/virtual-camera-guide

The Virtual Camera is a feature of OBS Studio that allows you to share your OBS Studio scene with any applications that can make use of a webcam, such as Zoom, Skype, Discord, etc. This feature is particularly useful for applications that cannot capture the screen directly.

On discord.com you might be able to share your webcam then. I haven't tried.

You can use a headset which has mute button for the mic. So at least muting yourself quickly can be solved.

idk, i downloaded the installer, ran it with vxkex and it worked perfectly...
