CI pipeline fails #615

CI pipeline fails since September 5. It fails in action Test Dev-Toolswith error

karabo/data/external_data.py:86: error: Cannot assign to a method  [method-assign]
Found 1 error in 1 file (checked 74 source files)
Error: Process completed with exit code 1.

I looked into the code but couldn't figure out what goes wrong. The pipeline worked before Sept. 5.
