PlexConnect on Synology

I installed PlexConnect (latest version) on DSM 6.1 via repostitory. It does not start and I am not able to uninstall it. Since that failed installation the diskstation does not enter standby anymore.

Any suggestions?

ChuckPa says so: You can manually remove it.

Stop PMS Open Control Panel - Shared Folders. Give your username permission to R/W in the Plex share Open File Station Navigate in the Plex share, through Library -> Plex Media Server -> Plug-ins Manually delete the .bundle file Start PMS

Hope someone get help from this. Personally I uninstalled thanks my son who SSH into the Synology and deletes all PlexConnect files located in 2 directories ( /volume1/@appstore/Plex Media Server /var/packages/Plex Media Server)

I tried finding .bundle file in Plug-Ins Directory but could not find it. Tried ssh and could Login. Unfortunately my Linux knowledge is zero and I was not able to navigate.

Dear Michel, there is a folder Services.bundle. I think or

You search for PlexConnect

Or otherwise you cancel all the folder being prepared in this case to made a reinstall.

For Linux I’m also at 0. That is my son studies. Anyway if you search for command on web how to search for PlexConnect u’ll find 2 directories that must be cancelled by linux command. At next rebooot also the package container not showing anymore Baa package.

I did remove the Services.bundle folder to no remedy unfortunately. PlexConnect still in Package Center not able to be uninstalled or even started I'll try again tomorrow. (have to finish my chili, guests will be there soon. Happy new year and thanks for help!

Try courage and let in some linux. The command I gave you are simple you must see the directories containg PlexConnect (only 2) And give a special command to remove them. Let take a look into linux basic command. Don't be in panic

I did use linux commands. Had to do it as superuser. Now after another reboot warnig in package center is gone, no more obvious traces of plexconnect. Unfortunately hibernation does still not work as soon as plex server is running.
