Include some instructions in the U.I. #471

The PiP feature is particularly useful when searching for live broadcasts, but users are unlikely to notice it. Recommend one or more of the following:

  1. Place a button somewhere on the info panel that displays some instructions when clicked.

  2. Display a reminder icon in the lower-right corner of the playback overlay (example below)

Thanks for the ticket, you are correct, and both of the suggestions are on the roadmap

  1. 269 Document some of the less known features - including pip

  2. This one is in scope for the new dev player that contains new UI (including buttons to skip video, choose quality, etc) it's been in the work for a while now, currently not working, but a new UI is needed to fit these options player
