Images used in thumbnails are not the resized version #17

Images used for thumbnails in archive pages and for the slideshow are the highest resolution available, not the wordpress resized versions. They are also sometimes distorted.

I ran the "regenerate thumbnails" tool after installing Arras 3beta1, and it didn't change anything.

There was a bug here (loading the full-size image) that will be fixed for the release of 3.0, so that the reduced sizes should be used instead where appropriate. Images were resized without cropping, which will make vertical images appear distorted in the many areas where Arras uses a wide-screen size image. Changed to resize with cropping (which will cut off parts of images where they don't fit the wide or square ratio). I'm leaving the issue open for the next cycle where I may introduce re-sizing with or without cropping as an option.
