Only the base sky color is shown #4

I want to see the daytime from deep inside my base and so this setting works for me. But the glass extensions do not show an image, only the base sky color is shown. That means that I can "see" if sun is rising from the color of the screen which is light blue by day and black during night. And it slowly turns red during sunset/sunrise. But there is no image shown. The terminals for east and west view should deliver a great sky view along with some panorama. But the screens are only one-colored after connecting to the terminal and being switched on. Only the facing side (the desired one) of the six sides of the glass extensions is colored. The other five sides are transparent.

I believe its an Optifine setting to blame for this. Which setting would be the right one? Or did I fail with some other basics of the mod as I'm a noob to this one.

MC 1.12, Forge 14.23.0.2546, GLASS 1.12.2-7.0.0, OF 1.12.2 HD U C6, no shader (internal for now)

It's Optifine in general I think. Optifine modifies the RenderChunk class to the extent of breaking Forge/Vanilla compatibility. I've managed to make sure it didn't crash to the very least but with Optifine installed, the mod will not show any static blocks in the render.

Thanks! Works now as I uninstalled OF. Have a serious drop down of FPS - but yay, it works. Only the western view terminal delivers some ghost blocks which I could identify as Malisis' sliding iron doors. The door frames are hanging around the camera when you watch the screen. The east view seems to have no problems. West view camera is aligned with a chunk border on z=15 viewing direction west.

Is there a setting to hide that ghost blocks?

Ghost blocks?

Knito58 commented 6 years ago

Ok its the Malisis Doors right behind the Screen which are shown with a slight offset. The image looks as if I looked from the western view right through my base to watch the doors near the screen. You need to see this - screenshots:

a) Looking "through" the screen which shows the west view. You see floating doors. https://www.dropbox.com/s/y2kfg83g1es3vk6/glass-1.jpg?dl=0

b) A step to the left - the doors have glitched away. They should be there and appear when I approach. https://www.dropbox.com/s/jqpg281x48fryhq/glass-2.jpg?dl=0

Edit: Edited Download Link a)

I'm not too sure what's going on there. Can you drop them a message to this issue?
