[Mod Compatibility] Portal Gun does not display properly with cubic chunks

This is what happens if you use the portal gun above 0 with cubic chunks:

If you use it below 0 it just does not work at all.

When using above 256 (i tested at y=400): Connecting 2 portals can cause the game to crash.
