Portal Guns stopped working #99

My portal gun in my one world suddenly stopped working. I can no longer see the colored circle thing around the crosshairs and it doesn't fire when I left or right click. Also, my character doesn't hold the gun up anymore; he just has his arm at the normal position, pointing the gun at the ground. I tried crafting a new PG, but it did the same thing. I tried a fresh world, and they work fine. The last thing I did before it happened was die near a portal, and then close the portals by pouring water on them. I tried to reproduce this in the test world, but the guns kept working fine.

I redact this. It was because I had stuff in my offhand. Portal Gun only works if it's the only thing in your hand(s). Can be in left or right hand, but other hand must be empty.
