When near a player who starts to morph the game crashes for the person who isn't morphing

A crash log would be nice. Details such as which version you are using would also be helpful. I can't help you otherwise without this info.

1.16.5 is the version i am on

Likely Optifine related. Their optimisations have never really been very compatible with Morph or iChunUtil in particular. Try removing Optifine and see if it works.
