The default behaviour of iOS is to backup the contents of each app's Documents container to both iCloud and iTunes backups.
Comic files are not small. Not only that, but they're usually not unique to a user's iOS device (Unlike any other kind of user-generated content). So if the device was lost, it's usually not too hard to restore them from other sources.
As a result, it's been requested that in the hopes of minimizing the amount of redundant backup space wasted, a setting is to be added to iComics to explicitly disable backups if desired.
This feature will be OFF by default, to make sure it still initially behaves how users would expect.
