This still seems to fail for me with

checking tests ... ERROR Running the tests in ‘tests/testthat.R’ failed. Last 13 lines of output:

Type 'demo()' for some demos, 'help()' for on-line help, or 'help.start()' for an HTML browser interface to help. Type 'q()' to quit R.

test_check("ridigbio") Error in curl::curl_fetch_memory(url, handle = handle) : Timeout was reached Calls: test_check ... request_fetch -> request_fetch.write_memory -> -> .Call Execution halted

Root cause is that not all tests got wrapped with skip_on_cran() and the maintainer's machine does not have an internet connection. The error is coming out of the the CURL library when trying to run a test.

Not all tests were wrapped because some of the changes were still sitting in the fixtest branch and didn't get merged before 0.3.2 was cut.

0.3.3 fixes.
