The shaper

They will be in charge of the overall shape of the webpage.

This task is very important because we will many have different on the different pages (text boxes, images, animations...). We need to organize them in a coherent way so that the content of the page make sense.

They will be answering to the questions where is this going and how can I put it there?

Requirements for this role will be sense of organization, basis of CSS and very basis of HTML

Unfortunately I won't be able to perform a demo at tomorrow's meeting, but adobe XD is a software that could really help us designing our web pages. It's very easy to use and has a collaborative mode. It has a free version but for the hackers you can crack it using this tuto which seems pretty legit (I didn't test it but there is a good ratio of thumbs up/thumbs downs

Jean are you interested in the role of shaper particularly? I have a big concern about using this kind of software because I think it's not open access. IGEM is strict about using creative common content and open source content... Even if your solution seems super easy to use.

Well actually it's not a development tool, it's only a way to design some webpages in order to have a model on which to build our actual website. None of the work we'll do using Adobe XD will be visible at the end, it's just a pre work Do you still think that it would be an issue ? And for the role of shaper, it's not something that I want to do in particular, I would like to code as well but it's something that we can do simultaneously

There are some really interesting videos for the wiki's shaping starting from what iGEM is providing us (the webpage) from redesigning the structure
