By changing '.com' in the web address of a GitHub repository to '.dev' one can open a web-based editor similar to VS Code (see here).
This could make it significantly easier for people to contribute to e.g. the documentation, without having to worry about installing anything locally.
We should add instructions on using this method to the documentation.
I believe that this is now a sub-issue of #294, as the videos there explain how to use github.dev
