Yes, it would be great, to have 14.8

Copy the 14.7.1 device support files here https://github.com/filsv/iPhoneOSDeviceSupport/blob/master/14.7.1.zip to the usual xcode device support directory and rename the folder to 14.8 . I just build a project to my iphone running 14.8 from xcode 12.4 running on Catalina 10.15.7
