"Disbable Discovery Section" not working

"Disbable Discovery Section (Search Icon)" option doesn't work for me. Though I have turned on the "Disbale Discovery" option, when I tap the search icon/magnifying glass icon, the tab still shows a feed/vine-like section. Can it be fixed please?

I am using InstaUltra v0.9.7.25 A (instagram base v100.0.0.17.129) developed by Sommer Damous.

In InstaULTRA, a modded version of instagram there are some unique features. Can those features be added in the stock instagram app through XInsta module? The features are -

1. Follow indicator: If a person follows you, in his/her profile there is written "Follows You" above the message option. This is one of the most important features.

2. Start video with sound: Option to turn on/off - start videos of feed/stories directly with sound.

3. Hide typing.....: Option to turn on/off - Don't tell the sender that you are typing a message in DM.

4. Hide read tick: Option to turn on/off - Don't tell the sender that you have read the message in DM.

5. Hide view stories: Option to turn on/off - Don't tell anyone that you viewed the stories.

It is generally correct to request new features in the issue tracker - what I think is not, is writing about them wherever you can. Either open a new issue or write it as a reply to an issue you already have opened :)

I'm not the owner nor the dev of this project so I can't say how he prefers to have new features requested, and I also don't blame you for being new - everyone's gotta learn! Although I would generally suggest you try being as little invasive as possible when talking about things like this: the issue tracker is, indeed, thought to be for issues, and although feature requests are not unwelcome and can really be great innovation ideas for creative devs, they are not the main purpose of the issue tracker.

In stock Instagram also "Disable Discovery" option is not working for me.

I have opened XInsta and tap "Update Hooks" from GitHub, then rebooted my phone.

Open XInsta -> Click Pastebin and restart Instagram. Some hooks may have some issues. Instagram changes their ARM64 APK's packaging, which is causing issues decompiling.
