Because we were unable to simply extend generic_mapper, the discMapper script will need to be manually updated when changes are made to the single file in the mudlet repo. How often do we do this? With every new Mudlet release?

Can dependabot alert us to changes?

Sort of. It create a PR for dependencies, but discMapper is a hybrid GMCP and generic_mapper fork, so it's not dependent on it. I wouldn't want to try to search through the file diff for discMapper.xml and generic_mapper.xml, but I may have to.
