got a new issue, but selecting --nothing-- did clear the map well.
Will look into it...
one more comment. The red color that is shown when it's selected get clear, but the layer is still there
sorry, can you eloborate. Did not really get what you ment with this one.

I have posted three picture here for this post. If you are looking at the picture #2, you will notice the area where I do my selection. To clear the selection, I selected '--nothing--' from the data view dropdown list. It cleared the selection mark from the map, but it left behind and extra layer as you can see from picture #3.
In picture #3, you can see that the 'Province' layer is not selected. The layer on the screen is what selection left behind on the map.
I believe it's related to issue https://github.com/iMMAP/OASISClientV4/issues/4
