iTerm2 3.1以降で動作しない #31

USキーボード使いには必須のユーティリティとして毎日使っています。

設定は、左Cmd->英数、右Cmd->かな　のみの標準的な状態です。 表題の通り、iTerm2のバージョン3.1以降で、IMが切り替わらなくなりました。 iTerm2のバージョン3.0.15までは問題なく、3.1系では最新の3.1.5まで全滅です。

iTerm2の作者にも報告し、gitlabのissuesにも上げてあるのですが、今のところ修正される気配がありません。

iTerm2側の問題とは思うのですが、考えうる対応策は何かないでしょうか？
