Both require additional protections from various hazards.

Hazard Suit:

Alpha Unicorn Fart Cloud to full suit protection.
Force protect against Poisonous Plants, Poisonous Mushrooms

Gas Mask:

Add various gas buffs to the gas mask protection list, such as Mushroom Spores and Alpha Unicorn Fart Cloud.
Force protect against Poisonous Plants, Poisonous Mushrooms

Buffs to protect against:

 - Buff_PoisonousFart_KC_C : Trippin Bawlz
 - Buff_PoisonousPlant_Element_C : Poison Spores
 - Buff_PoisonousPlant_Biolum_C : Freezing Spores
 - Buff_PoisonousMushroom_C : Mushroom Spores
 - Buff_GasBursts_C : Gas Vein Bursts
 - Buff_PoisonGrenade_C : Moth Poison 
 - Buff_PoisonTrap_C : Misc
