Line break with markup and punctuation #166

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Include some text with markup (e.g. <i>Blah Blah Blah</i>
2. Add a comma after the </i> tag.
3. Keep increasing the content within the italic tags until the comma by itself 
goes to the next line

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see that the comma stays with the last word of the marked up content.
See that the comma can be separated by the line break from the last word of the 
marked up content

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
R8 build from the source available on the webpage. Running on MacOS Leopard.
