You only allocated 2048 MB memory to the game which is not enough. The mojang lanucher only allocate 2GB by default. Allocate more RAM to Minecraft https://filmora.wondershare.com/game-recording/how-to-allocate-more-ram-to-minecraft.html

According to your testing, does the issue occur with ONLY Immersive Portals mod and Farbic API?
Yes
Describe the issue
I was making a non-euclidean map and I had some portals created already. I made a new portal somewhere else and after creating a portal, my CPU would go really high and the FPS of the game would get really low everytime I moved or loaded chunks. Looking around was fine. Deleting that portal didn't fix anything. It still lagged a lot while moving. It happened twice, but the first time it happened I somehow managed to fix the lag by rejoining the world. The second time it happened, rejoining didn't work and I decided to record a clip. I only had the Immersive portals, Pehkui and worldedit mods installed. The version I used was 1.19.3. Today I joined the map and changed my base scale to 0.5, then back to 1 again and it somehow fixed itself like as nothing would've happen. Even though I managed to fix the lagging issue in my map, I wanted to report this because I know it would happen soon for other players.
