I would love to use the Custom Portals mod to create a portal between 2 locations in the same dimension, and then have the convert_conventional_portal custom portal form turn them into immersive portals, but the only available trigger is conventional_dimension_change, which obviously doesn't apply when teleporting to the same dimension.
If you could add a trigger (or update that one) to detect teleportation within the same dimension and convert the portal, that would be awesome.
