Would it be difficult to make each crafted portal device to have its unique set of portals? Like, say, generate a uuid for each portal gun and its portals, and choose a color combo? Maybe like sophisticated backpacks does, putting the device in the crafting grid with a color on the left and right.
I feel this would open up the potential for the mod, especially in multiplayer!
