Batch video and subtitle processing program with the ability to add, remove, or extract subtitles from all video files in a directory and its sub-directories.
Just tried this promising tool and from over 100 mkv with external subtitles, it reported that 8 files were not procesed. Not a bad number! How to find the unprocessed subtitles when doing a merge?
There are 180 mkv files in source directory, not all of them have external subtitles with them.
but could not find a log with those files reported. Anywhere else to look?
Then enabled the debug mode.
Found 2 errors in report, not 8, only 2 show up as being an error.
Deleted the buggy srt files and run it all again with debug on.
Now it says 7 files were not processed. Yes 7, i expected this to be 6, but is says 7.
Then exported the report and checked with text editor looked for other error but none show up.
Then read line by line and looked for other [Auffälligkeiten], but none so far.
What to look for in report when all files in there show as 100%?
Suggestions:
Would be helpful if MKVToolNix Batch Tool writes the unprocessed filenames into a log to further investigate, to find out what could cause these files not to be processed, instead of having to run it all again with developer mode turned on.
It would also help if the filenames appear inside that little warning popup.
