@mushpahpointed out in iRail that Infrabel has its own dataset of stops, which includes traveller stations as well as technical stops and cargo stations. This data could be valueable to correct and enrich this dataset.
The IDs do not match, and infrabel has information about additional stations, so I suggest
We try to match the data based on the station name
Add abbreviations to stations.csv
Improve/add translations if infrabel has a better translation
We add an additional file, for example infrabel.csv or infrastructure.csv, where we include the iRail/NMBS id, the infrabel id (TAF/TAP), abbreviation (symbolic name), station name (for human readability) and station type. This file could be used by 3rd parties to combine the datasets, to use data that references internal stations (such as composition data) and by us to keep the stations dataset up-to-date.
