I am creating this issue just to make sure we don't forget this point. There is no need for immediate action. A collaborating programmer from another "Taxon-Omics" project, Tankred Ott, has written a quite powerful clustering algorithm called "pyckmeans" and he agreed to integrate this in TaxI3. The code should be finalized by the end of September 2021. Once we start redesigning the GUI and finishing TaxI3, we will discuss how to integrate the pyckmenas clustering option.
