doesn't actually mute mic when it says it should #78

When I open the voice recorder and hit my hotkey, the icon (sometimes) changes to show that the mic should be recording. when I hit it again, It doesn't actually mute the mic.

Also, as I hinted above, the hotkey often doesn't work. I use HID Macros, and have it simulate the f13 key, which I have then mapped to the menu. however, the icon often doesn't change. I have a feeling that it is HID macros fault, as I didn't notice this problem when I mapped it to the tilde key. However, I cannot tell if it is a problem in the icon or my Macros software. The issue of not muting the mic was persistent thorough all my tests.

I have had this problem with two mic muting software so far. (MicMute) If it is something that I am doing wrong, could you please tell me how to fix it?

Many thanks, Electron

What software and HID macros are you using to simulate F13 ?

Electroncoding commented 2 years ago

I am using HID Macros to intercept the keypress on my second keyboard, and then send F13 instead http://www.hidmacros.eu https://github.com/me2d13/hidmacros

I would be fine with not using a macro at this point, but the mic doesn't mute regardless of the key shortcut
