Demo Credentials #321

Where did everyone get their demo credentials? I’ve registered and have my API keys and can get to the payment stage however I have no test account. Was I supposed to receive an email after signup?

Hi @ddaddy ,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

You should've received demo credentials immediately after filling in the 'Payments SDK for iOS" form on the developer portal.

Credentials are sent to the email address you used when creating the developer account.

Can you please check your inbox and get back to me in case you haven't found it.

Thanks, Dejan

I received an email to confirm my email address and then an email with the Development Agreement PDF. But no email with any demo account.

dmilovanovi commented 4 years ago

Ah, I see.

I can check what went wrong.

Could you please provide me with the email address the developer account is registered to?

ddaddy commented 4 years ago

Sure. djonesuk@me.com

@dmilovanovi

Same thing happened with me also. I did the developer account signup Sept 11 and haven't received any demo account details. I even sent an email regarding it to sdk@izettle.com on Sept 14 but not received any demo account access till now.

Can you please check what went wrong in our case. My developer account is registered to info@salesvu.com.

Thanks

Hiding your comments just in case, but will check both email addresses shortly!

@ddaddy, You have created a public application on our developer portal, and for this you do not get a demo account. You've mentioned having API keys. Have you created these keys using the integrations page at my.izettle.com?

@salesvuteam I can see that with that account you already received a demo account back in 2015. Are you trying to complete the update to SDK v3.0.1?

ddaddy commented 4 years ago

I'm creating an app for a third party that will be on the Apple App Store and used by certain venues. Should I not have selected public app? In the public app I created it gives ClientID and Secret (This is what I meant by API keys).

ddaddy commented 4 years ago

Ok, i've created an iOS app on the dev portal. Should I now receive a demo account email?

ddaddy commented 4 years ago

Got it :)

@dmilovanovi

Yes we are updating to SDK v3.0.1. Now I am able to locate demo account from 2015. Thanks.
