random jump to original location during spoof resulting in soft ban #339

My issue is identical #203. This issue is closed so I decided to create a new issue as the issue persists. I have tried closing all apps and restarting my phone prior to building and running but no matter what my location jumps and I get soft banned. I try to spoof to central park in new york and within a few minutes the app will glitch back to my original location real quickly and back to new york. sometimes i dont get softbanned but within a few minutes it happens again and by the second or third instance I do end up getting the soft ban. is there any way to fix this?

Is it because of notifications popping on your phone ? or switching from Pokemon Go to another app then switching back to Pokemon Go?

I never switch from pokemon go when using the gps spoof. I could be receiving a text or email but I really cant control that. I never go into those respective apps to read them though while im using PoGo. So i dont think thats the issue

I am also affected by this. I don't really go that far, but I just get soft banned because of that kind of glitch. I have no idea why this might happen, but that's annoying. It's often when the app is not "moving". Maybe to prevent this, we might add a tiny coords change when app is not in moving mode, to avoid this issue? Just an idea :)

I am experiencing the exact same symptoms. Within 3-5 minutes the app glitches back to my real location and I get a soft ban. No other apps were running in the background and no notifications were received. It should be mentioned that I have been using this app for 3 weeks now without any problem and this issue has been occurring repeatedly over the last 2 days. The webspoof app usually returns to my real location when a pokemon run away from me (it can be the other way around, that during my capture attempt the the app glitches and that's the reason the pokemon run away).

Hi guys, i came here to post a solution that works for me:

Deactivate 3g/4g and use only your wi-fi.
Start the webspoof and the game.
When the Game is ready and you are able to move the player, put pokemongo in background then go to settings (on iphone) -> privacy -> Localization -> OFF.
Go back to PokemonGo and wait the "GPS error" message. Wait 1-2 seconds.
Put PokemonGo in background and reactivate the localization (settings>privacy>localization).
Go Back to PokemonGo and you are ready to play.

When i do this i don't experience any jump to my real location.

Thanks @NickyBass. Your method works for me. The webspoof app still gliches, but now it returns to the initial faked location (where I toggled the Localization ON/OFF) and not my real location. If I do get a soft ban it doesn't last more than a minute. As for disabling the entire 3g/4g altogether, this is an overkill. I just set: Settings -> Pokemon Go -> Cellular Data -> OFF.
