Location kept getting reset to actual location #384

Hi team!

If I do anything on my phone, change contrast, etc, it will instantly change my location back to my actual GPS location. Is there a way to prevent pokemon go to go back to default current location?

try turning cellular off on your phone

FYI, I am still having this issue, the latest new feature make things a bit better but not that much...

This has to do with the phone, not the software. I have a iPhone 6 Plus and this will happen every 5 minutes. I've tried it with a iPhone 5 and 6s. Both are very stable. So try this on another phone. I think it will work better.

I am getting the issue with my 6s, sometimes nothing for an hour, sometimes multiple times in the same hour.

I am also having this same issue with my 6. I am running the lastest version from the repository (not the release). I also tried to turn off the status update (someone suggested this) but no success.
