I suppose you mean macForge right?
Could you verify whether some other basic plugins do work? I usually test with GlobalNoWindowIcon
or GlobalNoWindowTitle
, and you can see the effect on Finder. Note: you have to restart apps for the effect of any plugin to kick in. To relaunch Finder, hold alt and click on the Finder icon in your dock and select "Relaunch".
Hi Daniel,
I also really wanted wobbly windows for mac. Unfortunately, I have tried the same steps and have been unsuccessful. Another thing that I have tried was running the github files from the repo in xcode and the test example works just fine. But I have only been able to get it to work for the test example. I haven't look in to it in a while but I'm not sure if I'd be able to get it running system wide.

Since compiz I loved the wobbly windows (especially the maximize/minimize effect, when you drag it down like a bubble-gum, maybe an idea for an update).
I installed MacFusion on my Mojave (yes) and Jello from their store. SIP and Validation is disabled, it shows in "Manage" but nothing happens.
Is there something that needs to enabled?

Thanks for the replies. If it is only the demo, then I will save me the work. (But MacForge is a nice discovery for me.)
But I hope this will evolve, because there is a fan community of compiz fusion out there and MacOS (and it´s users) seems a good platform for this eye candy.
Thanks for your feedback guys. I've investigated the problem and found an issue with code signing prevented the plugin to be loaded. I've updated the 0.0.2 release (see here) which should work (at least for now). I've also opened a PR to update the MacForge repository (here), once that is merged you can install it from the app as well.
Let me know if you manage to get it to work this time, and whether you have any other problems.
NOTE: even though Jello does work at system level, it is still very much a proof of concept and can be glitchy sometimes. I don't currently have time to fix these issues, thats the reason why I open sourced it: such that interested people can contribute :)
It works! you can probably close this out.
Yes it works, it is great and works mostly well. If you need help, you should mention that in the description in MacForge and on the main page. This is really cool.
