[BUG] '--back-to-normal' command fails to restore default wallpaper #2

Open iamDyeus opened 1 month ago

iamDyeus commented 1 month ago

When using the '--back-to-normal' command, the application successfully closes the task and removes it from startup apps, but fails to reset the wallpaper to the default one.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Run the application and let it change the wallpaper
  2. Execute the command with the '--back-to-normal' flag
  3. Observe that the task is removed and startup entry is cleared
  4. Notice that the wallpaper remains unchanged, not reverting to the default

Expected behavior: The '--back-to-normal' command should restore the original default wallpaper.

Actual behavior: The wallpaper remains set to the last image used by Suppap.

close this issue .😃

@Blacksujit, I think this is more of an OS issue than an application issue. I've noticed that if you're using a theme in Windows 11, it can't always restore the theme's wallpaper. In your case, since it was a manually set image, it could easily restore the original wallpaper.

So if i would like to work on this, how will I tackle the bug , since it is working fine on my windows

You’ve got to find a way around it, bud. Maybe try changing your default wallpaper to a Windows default theme wallpaper, and then try to replicate the issue. image
