Thanks for the super useful module and helpful replies, I really appreciate it. I'm planning on using this in production for CI tests and I'd like to give back. Do you have any interest in GH sponsorships or patreon or similar platform for monthly pledges?

I don't know about them. They interest me and thank you for asking but I truly would not earn many contributions and I don't have a personality to market myself or develop more trendy sponsored tools.

Node recently added native module mocking https://github.com/nodejs/node/pull/52848
