Replace the existing backgound images for the CarFrontEndButton buttons with 
new graphics or 
images generated by code.

Still can't generate the images dynamically, but at least the math is fixed so 
the lines are gone.

6 weeks off is a wonderful thing.
Buttons are now being generated dynamically as of 1.0a8.
