I tried looking at the website on Safari (just for debugging purposes! I swear!) and the loading of the animations took almost two minutes, can we:

1) Maybe change the "Loading" message for something more attuned to Frame's messaging, a la "loading some dope but heavy animations, this might take a bit!" 2) Can have the animations load individually, left to right, top to bottom? That way instead of waiting for all of them to load, they start popping up individually.

Slow loading speeds aren't really browser specific, more internet connection related. What's worrying me tho is that right now we're only loading 1 gif and 9 small images (jpeg). This is only going to get worse.

From what I can see, and it kinda makes sense, the plugin logic is "let's cram a certain number of posts in a way that best fits the area". In order to do that it needs to know about all the images. And once it has decided how they should fit, it renders.

Should we rethink the whole grid? I think that at least on mobile we should offer something else.

(Also what do you guys think? @janeclaireh @michu)

I could look into change the "Loading" message. But thinking of user experience as a whole I don't know if that will be enough.

I think we should explore a new widget. I will send you a few by Monday to consider.
