Steps to reproduce the bug

Start some app and leave it on for hours
Unlock phone and swipe up to get into the Launcher
Launcher is Unresponsive or very very Laggy

Expected behavior

No Lag no Unresponsivness

System log c560f5947910.txt I managed to get a log file when the issue occours

(Necro bump) Seems like it is hanging on an error and can't recover because of read-write permissions.

I'm currently struggling with this issue as well. The kicker is that it's only VISUALLY unresponsive, as I can still open applications "blind" and to "update" the screen I simply open and close the app switcher. Running Pixel 8 here with the latest updates. 14 (AP2A.240905.003)

The following is the supposed error from OP's grapheneOS instance back in August:

hwc-display: [PrimaryDisplay] resetColorMappingInfoForClientComp:: resetColorMappingInfo() idx=2 error(-22)
08-20 06:26:59.372  1000   549   609 E hwc-display: Fail to open file /data/vendor/log/hwc/PrimaryDisplay_hwc_error_log0.txt, error: Permission denied

Issue still happens on my Pixel 7 and its the same as this person is saying, i can still blindly open apps.
