Oh, I just read Andy's comment on issue 218 where he implemented the colors. Sorry--didn't catch that you adjusted the colors! What if we go darker like I suggested in this new file? I'm worried that adjusting the colors so much would make it not like the venue colors enough that people would understand what they signify. What do you think about these new colors?
hm, i find the colors pretty jarring still. now that we have the doors, what do you think of using your wedding colors, or forgoing the colors altogether?
Hmm I think we can do without the actual colors then. For the sake of one of the original issues (i.e. people not knowing that they moved from one similar square to another), how about we changed all the colors into a very light shade of grey (something like alternating between #ffffff and #f9f9f9)? This way, the user still gets the visual indication that the square has changed (i.e. they moved on the map), but we don't have to stick with the colors that match the venue.
The colors look off from what I see on my Excel sheet. I went ahead and darkened the colors, except for the grey one. Can we try these new colors instead? They should show up on the phone more true to the venue colors with this calibration. (I also supplied a totally wrong hex code for one of them in the first update...)
