New member can’t click the challenge icons

I’m an admin for a public group that uses this bot, but I don’t have the permissions to control the bot itself.

A new member is trying to join the group, but when he is faced with the challenge, nothing happens when he clicks the correct icon. So he gets banned shortly.

What we tried, none of which helped:

I removed him from the banned members list and tried again.
We updated both our Telegrams to the latest version.
I again removed him from banned members and added him to the group manually. But he’s still facing the same challenge.
I tried clicking the icon for him, which of course didn’t do anything.

I don’t know where the issue is exactly, but it does seem that the bot is not working as intended in this specific situation for some reason.

He also tried with a PC, same issue than with a mobile.

@mrelwood temporary disabled chat join challenges as sentiment analysis works fine enough to cleanup spammers on their first message
