Future of Plugin in Kirby 3? #24

Kirby 3 is already in beta, and the new Panel is based on Vue.js, rather than jQuery. As Kirby-Color-Picker is a plugin we use often in our projects, I've been wondering what the plans are in regards to making it compatible with the upcoming version of Kirby. I can see 3 possible strategies:

  1. Rewrite it, still using the jQuery MiniColors plugin
  2. Rewrite it, using one (or a combination) of the many Vue.js colour-pickers already available
  3. abandon it, leaving it as a 'Kirby-2-only' plugin
