What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installing the program on standard user (admin) account
2. Installing on the hidden admin account
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should install as normal. Hangs for 30 minutes at "Please wait..." but progress
bar never moves and eventually pops up with "Installer not responding."
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.2.0.0 and 2.1.0.0 have failed for me. Windows 8.1 Pro x64.
Please provide any additional information below.
I have tried:
Rebooting
Downloading a new copy
Restarting the installer service
System restore
Installing on a Win 7 virtual machine (which worked fine)
MS Fixit tool for MS Installer
