Fifopi Control header #2

I am planning on buying a ReceiverPi / FifoPi / HDMIPi combination for my DIY project. This will be hooked op to a i2s streamer for music listening and watching TV with my tv connected to the receiverpi. By default it's not possible to hook up my tv because the fifopi causes latency. I read in the documentation that the fifopi has a control header to adjust latency. Is it possible to hook this up to a raspberry pi with a serial connection to control latency? Is there any documentation on this? What is the default latency on the fifopi?

Hi ,

FifoPi delay can not be changed by now until the FifoPi controller is released. However the current delay is only about 0.2s so I don't think there will be any problem for video.

Regards, Ian
