finish writing the user and developer "narrative" documentation.

The API generator is a good start, but it needs some clean up, and linked to the readme.

The User Narrative is pretty complete. It would be totally awesome if the Wiki, the generated YARD docs and the gh-pages branch all worked together a little more nicely. I am very lazy and refuse to write yet more documentation just because wikis are sweet.
