pr0rp - Derived work #9

Hi,

We detected that someone name "Woradet Jangwattanasub" (วรเดช จังวัฒนาทรัพย์) pirated your source code.

Changed name "Stock fish" into "pr0rp" or something. And selling it as their own interest.

This is highly unacceptable.

Please reread my comment carefully again, you do not seem to have understood it at the slightest. Being angry towards others for pointing out your mistakes is a very bad character trait. You are not the victim but the offender, so being sorry would be appropriate, not being angry. And as mentioned, ignorance is no excuse. You did not even answer to a single of the points I made above. I am serious, reconsider your attitude!

Thanks for fixing it, the code compiles now also for me. Which version does https://github.com/woradet/Makruk-Stockfish/tree/master currently reflect?

However, you are still consistently ignoring some of my points. It would be appropriate to answer to all of them and not just selectively to the ones you like to answer (you are once again just doing the absolute minimum instead of really striving towards clarifying it as fast and thorough as possible). I am still very interested in clarifying how transparently you are working:

Is this referring to the publicly available source code of version 10.0? To be clear, customers who bought version 11.5 have to get the right to redistribute the source code and executable of version 11.5.

Well, you do not have to give everyone the link to your 11.5 source code, but you have to give your customers the right to redistribute it. Having non-disclosure agreements with the customers so that they do not redistribute version 11.5 is not permitted by the GPL.

If you want to send me something via email, you should have my email address since we already had a conversation.

Thanks for publishing your source code at https://github.com/redghostZ/Stockfish. If your customers are aware of that, that is good.

Now he makes someone selling or spreading this illegal (?) software for him.

He actives a lot in his Makruk program. But why do we not see any progress in his GITHUB?

He even makes a license lock for only one PC which is ridiculous if he really wants to follow the GPL license.

I hope someday someone will use these evidences to strike them hard for infringement.

There are some recent changes (just parameter tweaks) that also include the name change https://github.com/redghostZ/Stockfish/commit/74f172e228d5b3f121a0533d45be4a34e81e7eed, but I guess this is not the same as the paid version.

Here we go again. It is the same loop.

If the guy we are dealing is an honest person. It would be nice and easy. No much trouble like this. Every thing they did will be transparent.

What I can see is, when someone point out his misbehave, he makes lame excuses then adapting make it like he has no intention or wearing sheep cloth act innocent blame it on someone else. Try to distract us to something irrelevant.

Many of his statements (or probably most) are not true, he just makes thing up and I don't want to point where, I would rather keep this advantage for the court when someone going to sue him.

I don't even know the "Alis" guy he mentions, but I hope he(Alis) will sue this person too.

I don't know if this was sarcastic, but I anyway will answer it. My understanding is that he claims that you are the author of the Alisa Makruk engine and therefore have the intention of talking down on a competitor. Just for the sake of getting this out of the way, can you please briefly answer that.

In any case Alisa currently is not a very relevant topic for me. The engine existed before I even started development for Makruk-Stockfish, so I at least know there is a legit engine developer behind it who is capable of writing an engine himself. This of course does not exclude the possibility that more recent versions might be Makruk-SF derivatives, but so far I have not been presented any evidence for it, so I have to assume it is legit. And in any case, "he does it too" is no justification for anything, but just a sign of guilt.
