TO DO: -touch base with Joe on Netsuite -> BiqQuery table creation -knowledge session/Q&A with Carla on Netsuite -pull data from Joe's table and compare to SOT

Meeting with Carla -salesforce data is manually added by billing, order form is created once a deal is closed won -gcom is connected via an api, overages are pushed over at the end of the month, it is validated by bizapps and then adjustments are made by Monica where need be -billing process needs to be stabilized before salesforce is connected to NS, supposed to start in Q2, the way items and skus are used needs to be standardized (new skus are constantly changes) -OEMs and Marketplace deals are manually added -SS biz was imported on 12/1/22 and SFDC data was on 11/1/22 -secondary book feeds the primary book and is more international, use the primary

Status 4/6: -pull Joe's table and share with Karina (take a look at entities with multiple subscriptions) -make sure Joe's documenting fields (or Carla) -make sure Joe's using right fields -ask Carla to share NS process with team

To dos and timeline from Data offsite

-After NS QA and Ubersmith data add, reach out to RevOps to share dataset and have them take a look (week of Oct 9th, next week)

QA Takeaways:

Rip&Replace -some subscriptions have a 0 month term that needs to have $0 of ARR coded into the dataset -some subscriptions end dates have been properly truncated in the data -credit line showing up in Netsuite, service end date is properly adjusted on prior oppty -maybe we should keep credit line items but 0 out the ARR amount -ask for a second set of eyes on Inditex rip&replace -what should be the ATR next year on this Paramount deal -how can we identify R&R deals? Negative line items? Can we compare Service End Dates between NS and SFDC? 0 month terms on line items?

Partnership -we have channel partner deals in the dataset right now, we need to add fields for partner_contribution_type (share logic for cleaned version), and partner_transaction_type -corp dev deals are included, but what's the best way to exclude them when needed? (Azure, AWS), we have sfdc account_id so we can probably filter based on the record type -I'm currently seeing Marketplace deals for contracted customers (identifiable in the partner_name field as "xxx Marketplace") but no SS Marketplace for current or legacy customers

SS -present in int_committed_spend data; no marketplace -no values in subscription_item_amount field -Free SS orgs have the value "Self-Serve" in the opportunity_id field -Pro orgs have an integer value in the opportunity_id field

General ARR -I think we need to bring close dates into the dataset, is there any way to calculate ARR with Service Start Date? -subscription_clean field, does that need to be filtered for at the query level? -how should we handle ARR for terms that are broken up into <12 month increments? Azure example, Charles Schwab ramped 12 month deal -situations where sub line item start/end dates are before or after sub start/end dates are due to combination of SS and Contracted oppties and complex (mostly legacy deals). Sub line dates seem to be accurate though
