onReady not fired when reusing Root reference #357

Hi,

I can't get the onReady function fired when reusing Root reference. Tested on Windows target. Project to show the issue: https://github.com/boorik/HaxeUIonReadyIssue

Am i doing something wrong?

same issue on html5 target and sample project crashing with Stack overflow on neko target

So does the onReady fire on flash? I havent got much time at all at the moment at all, but if / when things get a little less "crazy" my end ill certainly take a look.

onReady is not fired on flash too. I understand that maintaining such project is not always possible due to everyday's job, no problem :) . Keep me in touch if you have some clues so I can try to fix it by myself or if you have a workaround. Cheers

Ok, so i think ive fixed the issue and ive pushed to haxelib, the version with the fix is 1.8.20. If you let me know if this fixes the issue.
