Some symbols are not getting highlighted #50

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open FMath
2. click on the "1/3" button.
3. Mouse over on the first symbol

Some of the symbols are not getting highlighted on mouse point though they 
appear on the editor when clicked.
Attaching a screen shot of it.

What version of the product are you using? On what browser?
CKEditor 3.6
IE 8
