Both stimuli visible in combined task... #9

Hi, first of all, thanks so much for this script!! I'm experiencing one little problem, tho: when an image is shown in the combined task, the text-exemplar from the last trial is (sometimes) also shown on top of the image. I have included an image to show what I mean. It only happens when the image is supposed to be categorized, so in the included screenshot, the correct answer is 'European', and the word 'Favorable' was categorized in the previous trial. It doesn't happen every time an image is presented (in a combined task), and it seems to happen at random times, but still, it always happens a few times when I run the script.

As you have probably noticed, I have changed the categories and the images, but this did not seem to affect the running of the script in any way. I also added a few more exemplars, so now each trial has 12 exemplars. This did seem to trigger the problem, although I don't understand why or how to fix it.

Any help would be highly appreciated! The IAT is to be part of a lab experiment later this year. Thanks!

Hi, could you send me the customised stimuli files you used?

Hi Ian, thanks for getting back to me. I have attached a zip file with the stimuli I intend to use – 24 Asian/European faces. The list of Asian faces is not complete yet, but these are the ones I have used hitherto. Thanks, PZ

I don't see an attachment, perhaps because its going via github. Can you send it directly to ian.hussey@ugent.be, or include a dropbox link etc?
