System will issue a queue number to patients. System notify estimated waiting time. Class attributes would include patients information, doctor's information, hospital's information, queue number information and also the reason for seeing the doctor. System will keep track of the number of patients who are coming based on the queue number. System will create a trend analysis on the number of patients to allocate resource management accordingly. System will notify if the there are a lot of patients on that day, to allow patients to plan their visit effectively and efficiently. System will automatically issue a warning to the patient if he took the queue number and did not turn up. System will provide penalties to the patients if they didn't turn up after taking the queue system.
As a patient i would want to go to the hospital and see the doctor in the shortest period of time and not wait for a long time to meet the doctor or go thorough certain tests based on my condition. If there is a online queue system i can take the queue number via the web application and i can go to the hospital at the right time and i do not have to wait in the crowd. I also would not want to go the hospital if there is a lot of patients on that day.
As a staff i would want a online queue system to ensure that there is less crowd in the hospital waiting area. This can mean it would be more peaceful and less chaotic hospital environment, also i would want to manage the human resource by tracking the number of patients that are coming daily and based on this we can accumulate and accommodate the number of staff needed.This would allocate manpower accordingly and not waste them.
